RISE – Restart in Scaffolding Employment – is a new UK-registered charity giving people a second chance. Founded by NASC, the UK’s leading scaffolding and access trade body, RISE offers life-changing opportunities to those who’ve faced major setbacks, whether that’s time in prison, addiction, long-term unemployment or any other tough break.

We believe in second chances and in work with purpose. And we believe that scaffolding – an industry in urgent need of skilled workers – can be the platform people need to restart their lives.

RISE is launching with 80 fully funded apprenticeships in 2025 to mark NASC’s 80th anniversary. This is about more than training. It’s about transformation.

GET INVOLVED

  • Employers

    Be part of the change. Offer apprenticeship placements, donate tools or training time, or sponsor a participant. Show your workforce what corporate responsibility looks like in action.

  • Partners and referrers

    Help us find the right candidates. We want motivated people who need a break—not a handout. If you work in criminal justice, addiction services, or youth outreach, let’s talk.

  • VOLUNTEERS

    Mentor an apprentice. Help with transport. Offer a skill. However you can contribute, you’re welcome here.
